Niki – Melbourne, 2015

It’s been one of those late evenings, when I just didn’t want to leave until I’m done with my work. I remember the press room getting almost empty by that time, it was dark outside and I thought I’d go out and get some coffee to get me going for a bit more. Inside an almost empty paddock I see Niki speaking to Austrian broadcaster and I thought that’s pretty impressive that he’s still here so late. I took 2-3 images while at some point he turns a bit and looks straight down to me. What a legend…
